The company

The Lecluyse firm was founded in 1958 by Gerard, Jacques, and Raphaël Lecluyse. In 1969, the three brothers, who had in the meantime gathered a lot of experience in the production of rolling shutters, decided to pool their resources and start a new production line: rigid vinyl blinds for vertical window covering.


Lecluyse quickly built up an excellent reputation in Belgium and in Luxemburg and after only a couple of years was able to introduce its product into the Dutch, German and French markets.
The production and export figures kept on growing and in 1990, the day-to-day management of the company was passed on to the second generation of Lecluyse family members.


With Caroline and Dominiek Lecluyse, the company received an even wider international exposure. New markets were explored and in 2000 the company was active in more than 30 foreign markets, namely in West and East Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and Southeast Asia. Because of the firm’s strategic location - in the center of Europe and only one hour distance from Antwerp, the world's third largest container port - we are in a position to guarantee our customers fast deliveries worldwide and efficient service.


From a small family business, Lecluyse has grown into a true presence in the world of light manipulation and modulation. In 2003, the company's turnover was 8 million euro while employing currently more than 45 enthusiastic collaborators. Together with the firm's management team, they in turn wish to be part of the continuing success story as it is recorded by Lecluyse!
